A cooperation with Uferstudios as part of the Ausufern programme series
At AUSUFERN, the Salon Raumverstehen looked at the current situation of the Uferhallen. The starting point is the decision of the district council (Bezirksverordnetenversammlung, BVV for short) of 4 June 2021 on the new development plan 1-112 (Uferhallen). What does the decision mean for this place and its immediate neighbourhood. Where do we stand now and what could be the next steps?
The two hosts Gabriele Reuter and Susanne Martin have intensively observed and commented on the scientific, planning or artistic contributions of the guests from the point of view of the choreography and repeatedly demanded physical resonances from the audience. Short performances and improvisations interrupted, reflected and questioned the guests' contributions; exercises in perception by the audience were combined with site-specific details.
