Salon Raumverstehen #5

Saturday 11 September 2021, Berlin Mondiale's Dammweg Neighbourhood Campus at the Black Arts Culture Day Alkebu-Lan.

Co-Curator Prince Ofori | Guest Ana Dias

A cooperation with Mince e.V. and Berlin Mondiale

Raumverstehen #5 took place as part of the Black Arts Culture Day Alkebu-Lan on the neighbourhood campus Dammweg of Berlin Mondiale. Prince Ofori, the initiator of this day and co-curator of this salon, dedicated himself to the topic of visibility. How do I perceive my everyday living space? What does this place mean to me? Do I feel seen here? Who is visible here, who is not? How does it feel, physically? In co-moderation, Prince Ofori and Gabriele Reuter entered into an exchange with young residents of the immediate neighbourhood, the Weisse Siedlung and the surrounding area. They collected different perspectives, images, observations and perceptions to create the most direct, practical snapshot possible of the living spaces in this part of town.
